I’m Caitlin, a lifestyle, portrait, and family photographer.

I don't believe in waiting for the perfect moment.

I like to look my best for a photograph, but sometimes the right moment hits while sweating in 90-degree heat, frantically eating a cone of ice cream before it melts all over your hands. As a mom of two, I'm the shadow behind the camera, capturing the passing of time with little proof of my existence to show for it. Yet, this proof is necessary. What do we want to remain when it's all said and done? You'll never feel ready. Thankfully, my camera is forgiving, & a little planning goes a long way.

My kids are my muse. They're not as excited about my photography as I am, but they will remain my favorite subjects until the end of time.

Sneaking in pictures of my friends when in their element is an old hobby of mine, so portraiture is like second nature to me.

Just like with my photography, I enjoy the simpler things in life - time in nature, a good book, pancakes on a Sunday morning.
